Emelie Boll is a professionally trained dancer, singer & performer from Sweden. Always dancing around in the living room rather than playing with her toys, Emelie started training at the age of six. She began ballet at Balettakademin Stockholm, added jazz, hip hop & contemporary a few years later. She also received training from a variety of pre-professional dance programs at Sway & House of Shapes. In 2018 she received her high school degree from Södra Latins modern dancetrack in Stockholm. That summer, Emelie received the opportunity to move to New York City and became a scholarship student in the two year Conservatory at Steps on Broadway.
During her time with the Steps on Broadway Conservatory Emelie has been fortunate enough to work with talented choreographers such as Verdon Fosse Legacy, Julie Magneville, James Kinney, Chaz Wolcott, Billy Griffin, Chet Walker & Julie Carter to name a few. She's also studied under Steps faculty members such as Jannis Brenner, Mindy Jackson, Al Blackstone & Max Stone. Vocally, she has trained with Jan Horvath, Chris Drobny & Paul Peglar & acting with Bronwen Carson.
Growing up in Sweden, Emelie trained mostly in commercial & modern/contemporary styles, therefore moving to New York City became an introduction of stricter, more technical training. She also carried with her the endless energy from her childhood, and a passion for singing and acting. Emelie is a versatile performer with a bubbly personality and a smile on her face. As much as a baby loves to eat and sleep, Emelie loves to explore and challenge herself. Since kindergarten Emelie has dreamed of living in a world as creative as New York City. She is forever thankful for the opportunities that the city has given her so far, & while drinking a cup of coffee every morning, she's looking forward to many more opportunities to come.
